Script Doctor Eric

The project chosen for this week’s Support Something Sunday is Detropia, a new documentary film from the makers of the JESUS CAMP.

If you want to know what a professional crowd-funding site looks like, take a gander at Detropia’s Kickstarter page

Not only do the filmmakers have amazing credentials, they’ve already shot what looks to be another outstanding documentary.  (The Kickstarter campaign goes to fund their distribution.)

The pledge rewards could be better, but you know what? Sometimes it doesn’t matter what tangible prize you get for your donation: The biggest reward is knowing you’ve played a small part in creating something amazing.

So, join me in sponsoring Detropia in today’s Support Something Sunday.  Go to Detropia’s Kickstarter Page, throw in a few bucks, and tell your friends.
