Script Doctor Eric

If you listened to the recent episode of Scriptcast with guest Adam Strange, you heard us discuss screenwriting groups, and more specifically, the group Adam started: Deadline Junkies

It’s a great group.  The actors are amazing; hearing them read really helps me shape dialogue and craft characters.

The writers in the group are top notch.  I’m usually impressed with the pages that go up each week.  And the caliber of notes doled out at the end of each reading is as good as any class or screenwriting program I’ve been a part of.

So if you get the chance, and say, happen to be in Sherman Oaks on a Tuesday night, stop by the group, watch some pages be read/critiqued, then say “hello” during the break.

I’m the guy with glasses.

Seriously.

-Eric
