Logline Friday Winner – November 12th

And the winner of Logline Friday for November 12th, 2010 is…

Chris Pluchar!

@PlucharC – One man finds out how far he will go to find his girlfriend’s cat that he traded on Craigslist for a case of what he insists is really good beer.

Great premise that outweighs the slightly-clunky wording.  I’m not sure we need to know that he “insists” the beer is good – it’s funny enough that he traded the cat for beer and now has to get it back.

Congrats to Chris who wins free notes on the first 10 pages of this script or any script he wishes to send my way!

If you didn’t win last week, no worries – the next Logline Friday is just around the corner.

And you don’t want to miss it – Ashley Meyers of SellingYourScreenplay.com will be giving away the prize to the wiinner!  (So I can catch up on all these free notes I’ve been giving away…)

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.

See ya Friday!

Thanks for holding the competition Eric!

For the record, I agree it’s a little clunky, though I thought leaving in the part about him insisting it was really good beer might help it stand out a little more. I imagine the character justifying his actions throughout to various people he meets along the way that the beer really was worth all the trouble. Alas, you’re the doctor, so a revision is likely in order.

    Take Care,
